After most towns forbade the open carrying of firearms the men and women found these sturdy revolvers the perfect solution to their problem. There is a great new book devoted to them. This revolver is untouched and has a great deal of pocket wear. It is functional but the ejector rod needs a little coil spring to hold it in place. The grips are worn about half way and it has a light rust patina which I liked and did not clean. This is a real Old West 70's or 80's survivor. Custer was carrying a pair of Bulldogs at the Little Big Horn. They were everywhere, but Colt got all the glory.
